I'm incredibly happy to introduce the first three of what may possibly be many more writers to come: Insaney, Hylie, and Kitsune. Well known on the forums, these three are sure to do one heck of a job as ZU's new Content Managers. But they're just the first round. There will be more writers added to the staff - guaranteed - so don't stop sending in applications. I'm stunned at how marvelous they are. Everybody who has sent in an application has stunned me, and it was incredibly hard to pick just three to start out. But, well - what the heck are they really doing? And if you submitted an application, what is it that we really want you to do that you need to be able to write so fast for? Well, it's something we've kept hidden for a long time. Months. Over half a year, actually. Deep in the confines of the ZU staff, we've been hard at work doing what many would consider impossible. Yeah, we said ZU was getting a new layout. We also said ZU was getting some fancy new features and neat image-loading boxes and whatnot. But that's not the real purpose of this revamp. As the years passed by, I always received comments that ZU's content was going out of date. or it needed sprucing up. Or it was grammatically incorrect. Or there were typos. Something was always amiss with ZU's Zelda game pages - and by this point, I'm not the only one fed up with that. And I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks that ZU's stuff needs a good brushing up. But, we're not just doing that. We're going one step further. We are rewriting everything on ZU. We're taking all the crap laying around and tossing it in the trash. We're keeping what's good and sprucing that up, and what isn't good is being rewritten from scratch. Every page, for every game. no exceptions. We've set down a standard to minimally spell and grammar check every page in the event that we are unable to rewrite it for the launch. But with new content managers, I don't think that's going to happen. I think ZU's content will get rewritten in time - and then some. So, now that the designer is hard at work making ZU's awesome layout, the focus is shifting to rewriting ZU's game information. And you wondered why Phantom Hourglass pages were late... shame on you! But now those will be coming rapid-fire as well. Everything is just about falling into place. All of us have something wonderful to look forward to - and these first three new content managers are just the start. Even I have something to look forward to. When that first sketch comes in from the designer, you can bet it will be the subject of meticulous scrutiny until it's exactly what we want. And when ZU's content is rewritten, you can bet that it will be precisely as it should be - grammatically correct, with no typos, and with more in-depth information than ever before. Comments (7)

| Er... we can still donate. Just because we haven't reached the goal doesn't mean that we should give up on trying to reduce the amount of out-of-pocket that the webmasters are pushing towards this project. Just remember that. :D |
