Not really much of an update to show, but it's something, and I felt like mentioning it.

There have been, over the past few months, a heaping pile of requests for a red theme for the forums, since we have white, blue, and green. Today, I decided to spend some time on that (rather than another project which I shouldn't be talking about just yet).

Quite simply, getting colors that hold with the "RED" idea that aren't painful to look at is difficult. I think I've got a general idea down of the color arrangement. Main colors of the layout at present (I have a tendency of changing all the colors two days later) are #bbb for text, and #000 #650000 #3b0303 are the main BG colors. I'm still not sure about the link colors, since it needs to stand out from text and not clash with the background. If you don't know HEX code colors, then just know that it's mostly dark and read (also that #000 or #000000 means black).

I'm hoping to be done with colors today before I go to class, then I'm going to spend some time over the weekend making some images. Once I have a few main ones, I'll be enabling the skin to be selected by normal users, although I won't "announce" it to the forums until after I've decided it's done.
