Advance Shop

The door next to the Tutorial House will normally be locked.  If you are playing the game on a Game Boy Advance, however, you will be able to open the door. Inside, you can buy an Advance Ring, a Gasha Seed, and a random Magic Ring, which all cost 100 Rupees.

Chest Game

If you buy everything from the basement of the shop in Horon Village, the owner will turn it into a chest game. The objective of the game is to pick the correct chest out of the two you can choose from. How can you know which chest is the right one, you ask? It is the one the owner looks as the longest. If you pick the proper chest three times, you will get a common ring; four times will net you a rarer ring; if you pick the correct chest five times, you will be rewarded with an extremely rare ring.

Cuccos

If you sprinkle Mystery Seeds at Cuccos, they will turn into Baby Cuccos.  Also, when you hit a Cucco several times, the entire flock will attack you, as in every other Zelda game. If you sprinkle Mystery Seeds on the Cucco you originally attacked, it will turn into a Giant Cucco!

Deku Scrub Seed Refill
Talk to the Deku Scrub in Natzu Prairie and agree with him that his song is great. If you do, he will refill your Seed Satchel.

The Maku Tree

The Maku Tree contains many secrets.  Here are some of them:

• When you retrive the Fertile Soils, the Maku Tree will grow wider.
• Get the Gift of Time to make the Maku Tree open up. Once it is open, you can enter the Halls of Secrets.
• When you retrive the Nuturing Fire, a branch with a Gasha Seed appears below the higher branch of the Maku Tree.
