I dunno why I manage to forget about little things I make on the side so frequently, but I do it skillfully.

Today, an overview of some things I've been thinking about and prodding when it comes to technical stuff at ZU.

First of all, I must admit I find it somewhat scary that the one that's supposedly in charge (read: Not Really In Charge) doesn't know how to use everything in Joomla. I suppose that's my fault, since I haven't actually gotten around to explaining just how to go about doing everything...and I'm here to do it, so it's not much of a priority.

Take, for example, those menus that exist for everything. They're shockingly easy to manage, and now that we have the SEO stuff, it's even simpler to not have annoying mis-matched URLs to high hell and back. It's a simple click-click, and it's done. Of course, that doesn't count the setting the module's position and on what pages that appears on, but it's simply enough done.

That reminds me that I should check the link URLs all over the site, since they probably haven't been fixed since the JoomlaSEF extension was added. Ah, I love stream of conciousness, and missing multi-month time periods of activity.

The next thing that I had originally intended on talking about here was some random updates I'm planning on doing over the course of the next week. vB came out with another update, for example, and I'm going to install that, tonight probably. That's painless work, anyway.

There have been requests for a red forum skin, and I'm going to see about making that over the next few days. The major issue with that plan is that red is a really hard color to use as a primary design color and not have the design either suck, or be just plain painful on the eyes. I'll probably be going with a red/black motif, overall. Though, knowing my past endevours, that's likely to change.

I had...something else I was going to do, but I can't seem to think of it right now. Oh well. It'll come to me, eventually. Oh! I remember. I haven't touched my E-Mail since June or so, so I need to go on a deletion spree.
