Moldorm As you arrive in the boss arena of Moldorm, you will notice that there are many places to fall. What you must do, while not falling off the edge, is strike Moldorm's tail four times. Watch out, he gets faster as you hit him. Stay on your feet and remember, if you fall off you have to start all over again. Genie  The Genie is a tricky boss, since there are several things you must do. He will start by shooting fireballs at you, eight to be exact. Pull out your Roc's Feather and simply hop back and fourth across the room to dodge them. He will then hide in his bottle, strike it once with your sword and pick it up with the power bracelet and throw him against a wall. Repeat this several times and he will escape from his bottle. Now you must dodge his fireballs and strike him eight times with your sword to defeat him. Slime Eyes  At the start of the battle, ram the wall with your Pegasus Boots to bring the boss down from the ceiling. Now dash into the eye itself, to separate it into two, this might take about five charges with your sword. Now concentrate on one eye and strike it with your sword as many times as you can. It will now jump very high and come crashing down, and you must jump before it hits the ground or you will be stunned. After it falls to the ground strike it with your sword. Repeat this several times to kill it. Now you must complete this task with the other eye and you will have beaten the boss. Angler  Angler is probably one of the most harmless opponents you will face in the game. Simply climb the ladder down and strike him with your sword as many times as you can. Watch out for little fish and make sure he doesn't charge you against the wall! Slime Eel  This is a rather difficult battle, as the Eel's tail is constantly moving around in a circle. You must stay behind the tail at all times! When the eel pops his head out of a hole, QUICKLY grab his head with your Hookshot and slash it with your sword. Repeat this a few times and the battle is yours. Facade  Another easy foe in the game, Bombs are your main weapon in this battle. Simply place a bomb on Facade and wait for him to reappear again, so you can then place another bomb. Beware of the floor tiles, since they seem to make holes in the gound that are easy to fall into. Evil Eagle  This is a simple battle, except for the fact that you mustn't fall off the tower. When the Eagle swoops by, slash him with your sword or stick him with the Hookshot. If he stops and starts to hover in the air, quickly move as close as you can to him and use your shield against the gust of wind he makes to blow you off. Repeat this a few times and he's gone. Hot Head  As soon as this giant fireball leaps out of the lava, hit him repeatedly with your Magic Rod, if they are not consecutive hits, he will fall into the lava and rejuvenate. If you manage to pump him with enough magic, his shell will fall off and only a few more hits with the rod is needed for him to be defeated. The Wind Fish's Nightmare  The first form of the final nightmare is a Giant Bit, simply sprinkle Magic Powder three times to defeat this form. The second form is the evil wizard Agahnim. When he shoots a magic ball at you, reflect it back at him with your sword to cause damage. Be careful though, he may throw other blasts that can't be reflected. The third form is Moldorm, from Tail Cave. Repeat the same tail-hitting process, but if you let him slow down, you must try again! The fourth form is the Dark King Ganon. Right from the start charge into him with your Pegasus Boots. He has various attacks like his demonic bats but just keep charging into him, a few times will send him away. The fifth form is a great Lanmola. Before he is fully formed, get ready to hit him with the Hookshot as quickly as possible. The Magic Rod and Boomerang work as well. One hit and he is down. Deathl is the last enemy you will face in Link's Awakening. His arms will spin around and hit you so you must get out your Roc's Feather to jump over them. When his eye opens, either hit him with an Arrow or the Boomerang. Repeat this a lot of times. But be careful, his arms speed up as you progress. This battle is a whole lot easier if you have the Boomerang. Good luck and wake the Wind Fish! |
